We are an independent restaurant. As such, we rely on reservations being honoured by our guests. We kindly ask that should you need to make any amendments to your reservation that you do so as soon as possible.
You can do so by contacting the restaurant directly on 0131 226 4155 and we will be happy to help. Please do make us aware of any special requirements you may have along with any allergies or dietary requirements in your party and we will be happy to accommodate to the best of our ability.
For parties in which there are 5 people or greater, we require a deposit of £10 per person to secure the table. We also request that credit card details are provided. These are kept securely and will only be charged in the event that these cancellation terms are not met, eg. if a reservation fails to give sufficient notice of cancellation or a reduction in numbers.
We politely ask for 48 hours’ notice of cancellation or reduction in numbers. Reservations that fail to give this notice will automatically be charged in full.
We politely ask you to contact us if you are running late. We can hold tables for up to 15 minutes and will release it if we have not been contacted by you. By making a reservation at The Cellar Door you agree to these cancellation terms.
Although uncommon, waiting times of up to 15 minutes can be expected during peak times.
